The Club Mum meet in July focuses on that one question that drives
us all round the bend – how much money should I give my child? How
much is too much? How much is too little? Money,
your kid and you. Oh yes, we love our kids – and we’re responsible
for them in every way, importantly in the way they became adults,
in the way they handle life, love, relationships, success, money.
They’re delightful and we do want to spoil them silly sometimes - so easy to let our emotions take over our pragmatism. So are we counting out the costs when dishing out the dough – not just in numbers, but what’s it doing to them? I’m sure we are, every parent grapples with: Where should I draw the line? Easier to just give in? Is it OK? All her friends have this. Let’s talk about it all and get our perspectives together.
